Andrew Kuhn

Andrew Dennis Kuhn, 43, of Bridgman passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 after a short and vigorous battle with an aggressive cancer.

A graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman on March 12, 2022 at 11 AM. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from Noon – 2 PM, with a time of sharing at 1:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Andy’s Animals which will provide children with stuffed animals while interacting with police officers and EMS in Berrien County. Andrew was born on October 12, 1978 in Kalamazoo, the son of Gerald Kuhn and Linda Gedeon-Kuhn. He was a 1997 graduate of Bridgman High School, a 2003 graduate of Lake Michigan College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Michigan University, Marquette in 2006. He was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at NMU. Andrew was a Security Floor Supervisor at Four Winds Casino, New Buffalo and served his community as a Reserve Officer for the Bridgman Police Department. Andrew will be remembered for his dedication to his career; work in law enforcement; his passion for travel; and his love for his family, friends and co-workers. He rode the rails and drove all over this great country seeing everything it had to offer. He had a particular love for the National Park System and encouraged everyone to visit them, especially his favorite, The Grand Canyon.

Survivors include his parents: Gerald Kuhn and Linda Gedeon-Kuhn; brothers: Brady Kuhn and Corey (Katharine) Kuhn and their three children: Libby, Ellie and Jack, whom Andy adored. Andrew is also survived by a close childhood friend, Kelly Hahaj-Mendus.
