Alma Louise Prenkert

Alma Louise Prenkert, 88, of Sawyer passed away on May 13, 2022 in Cumming, GA.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, with Reverend Bob Confer, Sr., officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11 AM on Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Berrien County Cancer Service, 3900 Hollywood Rd. Alma was born on April 23, 1934 in Berrien Springs, the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Schmal) Miller. She married Robert Prenkert and he preceded her in death in August 1985. Alma was a member at Church of God, St. Joseph. She loved to crochet.

Survivors include her sons: Robert Prenkert and James (Donna) Prenkert; eight grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters; sisters: Marilyn Hartwig and Patricia Valentine.

Alma was also preceded in death by her son: Michael Prenkert; grandson: Michael Prenkert, Jr.; and two brothers: Raymond Miller and Donald Miller.
