Agnes Cereske

Agnes June Cereske, 96, of Sawyer passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5791 Sawyer Road, Sawyer with Reverend Thomas Batsky, officiating. Friends may meet with the family Wednesday from 12 -1 PM at the church, prior to the service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Three Oaks. Agnes was born June 15, 1924 in Sawyer, the daughter of the late Emil and Amelia (Eschler) Cereske. Agnes was a member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sawyer. She retired from Clark Equipment Company after over 40 years of service.

Agnes is survived by her nephew: Alfred (Susan) Cereske Jr.; two nieces: Cynthia Dodge and Judy Jackson; and many great nieces and nephews; dear friends: Evelyn Davis, Art and Fran Pearce and Theresa and Bob Schiller.

Agnes was also preceded in death by her brothers: William Cereske and Alfred Cereske Sr.; and a sister, Gertrude Gridley.
